Flow Settings

The Flow Settings Dialog provides a centralized interface for configuring various aspects of a workflow. It allows users to update settings such as the flow's name, tenant association, message history, data attachment, and communication tone.

Configuration

General Settings

  • Name: Used to modify the flow's name.
  • Tenant: This setting enables the flow to be associated with a different tenant, subject to user permissions. Only the workspace creator or users with owner rights can change this setting.

Functional Settings

  • Message Trail: Toggles the recording of message histories within the workflow. Enabling this will keep a log of all messages passed through the flow.
note

Due to data protection, when Message Trail is activated, the interaction of the respective node in the message trail can be redacted. For this purpose, an additional privacy feature is offered in the node settings.

  • Attach Data: Allows the flow to attach data payloads to messages, which can be crucial for workflows that require rich information exchange.
  • Tone: Sets the communication tone for the flow. Options include:
    • Impersonal: Neutral, objective communication.
    • Personal: Friendly, informal communication.
    • Formal: Professional, respectful communication.
  • Connection: The default connection that will be used for the flow. The connection can also be changed in each respective node. Default is Managed.

Deletion of Flow

The dialog also integrates a deletion function:

  • Delete Button: Allows users to delete the flow. A confirmation step is required to prevent accidental deletions. Upon confirmation, the flow is removed from the system, and the user is redirected to the main page.
