Getting Started
Overview
This guide will walk you through setting up your tenant, creating and managing models, building flows, and deploying them to production.
Whether you're setting up a tenant for the first time or preparing to publish your flows, follow these steps to get started.
Step 1: Setting Up Your Tenant
Create or Join a Tenant
- Create a Tenant: You can set up a new tenant directly through the account page by clicking on your avatar in the Infocenter. When you first sign up, a personal tenant is automatically created for you. While this personal tenant is suitable for initial testing and development, it does not support collaboration with other users. If you need to collaborate, consider setting up or joining a different tenant.
- Join a Tenant: If invited to an existing tenant, you will receive an invitation in Flow Studio.
Configure Your Tenant with Sales
- Initial Setup: Initially, your tenant will not have any grants. To enable full functionality, including the execution of flows, you'll need to set up a plan with sales.
- Choosing a Plan: Visit the Pricing Page to review available plans. Configuring a plan that suits your development and production needs is crucial.
Using your personal tenant for production purposes is not recommended. Consider setting up a dedicated tenant for production environments.
Step 2: Modeling Flows
- Flow Design: You can start designing your flows even before your tenant's setup is finalized. However, these flows will not be executable until the tenant is fully configured. Remember, flows can always be moved to other tenants, allowing flexibility in managing your development and production environments.
- Testing: Utilize the editor to run and test your flow, ensuring everything functions as expected before going live.
In the flow settings dialog, consider setting the default tone that will be applied to conversations. This ensures consistency in communication style across all interactions.
Step 3: Publishing and Using Flows
- Publish Your Flow: Once your flow is ready and your tenant is configured, you can publish it. The publishing process includes options for deploying through a widget provided in the publish dialog or via custom integration.
Step 4: Integration and Deployment
- Widget Integration: Easily integrate our chat widget into your services to quickly make your flow accessible to end-users.
- Custom Integration: For more tailored solutions, follow the guidelines for custom integration, allowing you to seamlessly incorporate the flow into your existing systems.
